A late-summer story

How about the one where I thought I was getting an allergy attack and it turned into an end-of-summer head cold?  I had to pretty much cancel my plans of going to class today.  I emailed both teachers and heard back from one of them.  I have to work a full day tomorrow and I can NOT miss it.  I had time-and-a-half for working Monday so to make it worth it, I HAVE to work tomorrow.  At least I don't have class again until Tuesday.

When I'm at work, I receive one of three compliments:  "Your [eye] make-up looks incredible!"  "I love your hair color [currently red]; it looks great with your complexion."  "I wish my complexion was as clear as yours!"  Each of these statements make me blush. Filing for Unemployment in Colorado

How simple (or complicated) of a process is this? I filed Worker's Compensation earlier this year (for a shelf falling on both big toes) so now I can't do it onlne!! I'm now on hold.. going on ten minutes. Hopefully I'll get through to SOMEONE before COB today. By the way, for those who want to get together this week, call me before stopping by. I'm still trying to get through this stupid college algebra course. Has to be completed on August 31. What fun.

Overtime

Today is spent looking out the window to a gloomy, overcast day.    Temps are relatively cool.    Today is also spent making copies of six month's worth of weekly time sheets for only five personnel.    I started this yesterday afternoon, picking up on it this morning.    I'm on the first week of June.    I have a long day and it almost noon.    I think they're covertly trying to mentally log how much time is spent online.    Technically, it's all day due to my Pandora radio.    This current post was typed in Word before posting to the group.    I'm hoping to have July started by the time I leave today.
